Subjects will be learned, sports will be played and new friends will be made by many Marshalltown Community School District students. The 2026-27 school year began Monday. Students and staff gathered outside to wait for the opening bell and then poured into the hallways in the elementaries, Miller Middle School, Marshalltown Learning Academy and Marshalltown High School. The last day of school is scheduled for June 3, 2027.
