Ferguson Community Center Playground gets a fresh look

The Ferguson Community Center is celebrating a recent improvement made possible through the generous support of the Community Foundation of Marshall County and Keep Iowa Beautiful.

The Community Center received grant funding to help give the playground equipment a much-needed refresh. The playground is a well-loved and frequently used asset in Ferguson, providing a place for local children and families to play and enjoy time together.

Thanks to the grant, Megan Seymour of Seymour Painting put her skills to work painting the playground equipment and giving it a fresh, renewed appearance. Her work is a great example of a local business giving back and helping make a direct difference in the community.

The playground is used often, and keeping it safe and looking its best is an important investment for Ferguson’s children and families.
