The 2026 homecoming week for the Marshalltown Community School District concluded on Saturday with a homecoming dance following the football game against Des Moines East held Friday night. Students participated in dress-up days, played powderpuff on Sunday and attended Thursday's parade and coronation, where Queen Sherlyn Gutierrez and King Innocent Ishangulungu were crowned the 2026 MHS royalty.
