T-R PHOTOS BY ROBERT MAHARRY -- Building off of the popularity of past "Coffee with a Cop" events, officers with the Marshalltown Police Department (MPD) and YSS of Marshall County hosted "Coffee with a Co-Responder" on Thursday afternoon at Grounded to highlight the Marshalltown Police and Community Team (MPACT) program, which was launched at the beginning of 2021 and is currently funded through the end of 2026. There are three MPACT advocates on the team at present -- Suzy Reed, Tiffany Beadle and Riley Robinson -- and the program was expanded to cover all of Marshall County earlier this year utilizing opioid settlement funds.
