Rain and gloom on Saturday morning did not keep walkers and runners from completing the Soles for Souls 5K.
The race began in the St. Francis Catholic School parking lot before participants headed west on Olive Street to the stoplight at the intersection of South Sixth Street. After going south down Sixth to the pond, the special Angel Baby Mile began. The event ended with runners and walkers circling back to St. Francis.
Placed along the route were Memory Markers - lawn signs bearing the names of family members, friends and others who are important to runners.
