Ronald Lee Shutt, 85
Funeral services for Ronald Lee Shutt, 85, of Marshalltown, IA were held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at Central Christian Church with Pastor Loren Strait officiating. Mr. Shutt was laid to rest in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Jim Trowbridge, Jr, Joey Trowbridge, Kevin Boehmer, Joshua Rhoer, Zachary Shutt and Blake Shutt.
Honorary Pallbearers were Larry Menter, Richard “Dick” Paxson, Kevin Ferneau, Don Dougherty, Carol “Nub” Menter, Dennis Paxson, Don Stalzer, Thad Stafford, Katie Lundberg, Kayla Boehmer, Amy Stephens, Jillisa Haunsperger and Emily Shutt.
Groups attending included Central Christian Church, Lennox Mfg, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #204, Bruin Mfg, Franklin Elementary School and Care Initiatives.
Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Ron and his family.
