Beverly R. Pennington, 76, of Montour, IA, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Central Iowa Health Care, in Marshalltown, IA. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 W. Main St. Marshalltown, IA. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Anderson Funeral Homes. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, in Marshalltown. Beverly was born August 29, 1940 to Elmer and Gladys (Turney) Weaver in Grinnell, IA. She graduated from Conrad High School in 1957. Beverly was united in marriage to Gerald Pennington on December 5, 1963, in Marshalltown. She was employed with Fisher Controls in the data entry department for 32 years. She retired in 1996. Beverly enjoyed fishing, camping, waterskiing, and taking photos. Her true enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Beverly will be missed by her husband, Jerry, a daughter, Debra Pennington of DesMoines, a grandson, David (Amber) Arthur, three great grandchildren; Samantha Cosgriff, Benjamin Arthur, Noah Arthur, a sister, Connie Jamell of Marshalltown, a brother, Denny Weaver of Marshalltown. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Jacob Cosgriff, two brothers; Larry Weaver, Jim Weaver, and a sister, Patsy Vannatta.
