Pallbearers were Bill Smith, Rob Smith, Chris Smith, Jay Venenga, Randy LaBounty and Brad Venenga. Honorary pallbearers were Jadi Liesen, Shelby Venenga, Tyler Venenga, Amber Dowling, Leslie LaBounty, Robyn LaBounty and Michelle LaBounty. Military Honors were provided by the Combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guards from the surrounding areas. He was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Groups in attendance included the Masonic Lodge and the Green Mountain High School Class of 1945, among others. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Robert and his family.
