Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the East Marshall High School on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, also at the school. Connor James McCrary was born on November 29, 2001, in Des Moines, Iowa; he is the son of Sandra (Gooding) and Darcy Rasmussen and Michael McCrary. Connor attended school at the East Marshall Community School District, where he was involved in band, choir, cross country, large group speech, individual speech, trap shooting, plays and musicals. He worked at McNally’s Grocery Store and Hy-Vee in Grinnell, Iowa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, trap shooting, running, biking, riding the four wheeler, home remodeling and working on the farm (especially driving the skid loader).

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Sandra and Darcy Rasmussen (Mother and Step-Father), of Montour, Iowa and Michael McCrary (Father), of Unionville, Iowa; sister, Megan McCrary, and brother, Brennen Rasmussen; grandparents: Robert Gooding, of Marshalltown; Mac and June McCrary, of Marshalltown; Evelyn Rasmussen, of Aplington; aunts and uncles: Carol (Gooding) Bristley, of Ft.
