Funeral services for Alex Esparza, 28, of Toledo, Iowa were held on April 20, 2018 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Alfredo Martinez officiated the service and Betty Nikkel played music. He was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. His caregivers from the Iowa River Hospice house attended the service, among others.
