Funeral services for Mark Jeske, 58, of New Providence, were held on April 17, 2018 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora, Iowa where Reverend David Splett officiated. Special music was performed by Kristin Hagedon. Ushers were Larry Balvanz and Stan Granzow. Pallbearers were Scott Ridout, Craig Smith, Remington Ostrem, Murphy Wiese, Mike Jeske and Jeff Jeske. Honorary Pallbearers were Robert Gunderson, Rickey Techenburg, Jarred Faber, Lynn Balvanz, Greg Salvo, Kent Follett and Rex Lawler. He was laid to rest in the New Providence Cemetery. Groups in attendance included St. Paul Lutheran Church, Dave’s Crane and Wrecker Service, Grundy County Honor Guard, Eldora Boy Scouts Troop #334 and Pack #398, Fire-Rescue-EMT services from New Providence, Ackley, Alden, Buckeye, Clemons, Eldora, Gilman, Hubbard, Iowa Falls, Radcliffe, Steamboat Rock, Union, Wellsburg and Whitten, Iowa, New Providence Class of 1978, Hogeland Auto Plaza, E & E Repair, Rasmussen Company, New Providence City Council, New Providence Hardware, Iowa Falls Towing & Recovery, Ackley Scouts and parents of Troop #1338, Quality Auto, Heart of Iowa, Green Belt Home Health Care staff, and Good Shepherd Preschool, among many many others.
