Pallbearers were Eddie Johnson, Mark Nord, Loren Upah, Jeff Buffington, Jon Fisher and Mike Weeks.

He was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Groups in attendance were many and included Marshalltown Community School District teachers, staff and classmates from Miller Middle School and Marshalltown High School, St. Francis Catholic School staff and students, Marshalltown Police Department, Ethington Heating & Cooling, Fareway Stores Employees and many others.
