Funeral services for Daisy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Lamoille Congregational Church with Pastor Terry Collins officiating. Public visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be directed in Daisy’s name to Lamoille Congregational Church. Daisy Martha Bailey was born on August 6, 1932, in Pella, Iowa, the daughter of John Henry and Hazel (Collins) Bailey. She attended several Iowa public schools but had to leave school to help with the family and all the responsibilities that came with the family farm.

On July 1st, 1954, Daisy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Howard Leroy Thompson, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daisy was a homemaker. She was a proud member of her card clubs, bowling leagues and the Lamoille Congregational Church. Daisy had a passion for sewing, crocheting, watching and reading Western’s, avid Andy Griffith fan, playing cards, bowling and most importantly was the time spent with her loving husband.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Bob (Pat) Thompson, Julie (Francis) Lins and Arnie Thompson; grandchildren: Debra Williams, Angela (Moon) Chaplin Lins-Eich, Nathaniel Lins, Paul Thompson, Arnold Thompson, Jr., Desiree Thompson Luethje and Andrea Thompson; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings: four brothers and one sister as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters.

She is a Christian wife, mom and sister and now lives in Heaven.
