Pallbearers were Spencer Amory, Ryan Goecke, Jeff Hutton, Steve Sodders, Duane Petty, Steve Hoffman, Scott Stephenson and Michael Tupper.

Honorary pallbearers were Adrian Alvero, Robert Nicosia, Joe Grasso, Tulio Espinal, Miguel Ponce, Caesar Alvero, Carlos Garcia, Alfonso Wong, Lazaro Diaz, Christopher Duree, Aiddy Phomvisay, Paul Daniel, Jorge Alberto Pena, Mike Reyes, Juan Garcia and Jose Felix Barrenechea. He was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Groups in attendance included staff from Marshalltown Mental Health Center and Marshalltown Police Department, among others.

Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Carlos and his family.
