Born at the family home in Woodward, Iowa, Grace was one of three children born to Edward and Grace (Spain) Anderson. She was the Salutatorian in her class. She later would receive a degree in Nursing.

She used her degree her whole life working for the Eldora Hospital, Eldora Manor, Iowa Veteran’s Home and also as an EMT. She loved being able to help anyone in their time of need. She was also a talented musician, she was self-taught how to play the piano, guitar and clarinet. With those music skills it was easy for her to sing along with her own instruments. She was fond of knitting and sewing and she could always get caught up in a good book. She loved her family above anything else and cherished the time she had with them.

Left to cherish her memory is five children: Wanda Lepley of Eldora, Gary (Connie) Lepley of Conrad, Sheila (David) Ralston of Waterloo, Karla (Tom) Gear of Eldora and Pete (Amy) Lepley of Eldora; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother Edward Anderson of Tempe, AZ. and sister Iris Anderson of Columbus, NE.

In death Grace rejoined her husband of 61 years Morris; parents, great-grandchild Holden Daniel Lepley and daughter-in-law Donna Lepley.
