Samuel Stephen Sheda, 53, of Reinbeck, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with a Prayer Service following at 7 PM. A Private Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelsea will be held at a future date.
Survivors include his siblings, Barbara Johannsen of Reinbeck, Tom (Roberta) Sheda of St. Charles, MO, and Patty Murty of Tama; his special brothers, Jeremy Vaverka, Juston Vaverka, Jason Vaverka, Lance Johannsen, and Aaron Johannsen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Rose Ortiz; and one brother-in-law, Gordon Johannsen.
