A Memorial service for Eldon “Eldie” Veld, Jr., 59, of Union, was held on October 11, 2019 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Shomo officiated the service. Honorary Pallbearers were Benjamin Veld, Colton Henrickson, David Lloyd, Adam Terry, Robert McCracken, and Robert Buck. Groups in attendance included Eldora State Training School, Harley Davidson friends, and Dave’s Crane Service, among many others. Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Eldie and his family.
