Patricia (Pat) Hartwell, 68
Patricia (Pat) Hartwell, 68, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Family and friends are encouraged to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Sunday, October 13 from 2 pm – 5 pm at the Tama Legion, 1105 E. 5th St, Tama, IA.
Pat was born on October 18, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1968. On July 3, 1971, she married Douglas W. Hartwell in Marshalltown, IA and moved to Toledo in 1978. She enjoyed working with stained glass, cooking and canning, volunteering at the Wieting Theatre, going to grandkids’ events and spending time with her many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents Bill and Betty McNally and husband.
Survivors include sister Rebecca (Bill) Naive, Longmont, CO; brother Mike (Mary) McNally, Sacramento, CA; brother-in-law Willard (Dianna) Hartwell, the Colony, TX; daughter Heather (Lee) Moore, Cedar Rapids, IA; son Doug E. Hartwell, Henderson, NV; son Patrick (Penny) Hartwell, Albion, IA; four grandchildren and many friends.
