Megan Lynn Hook, 30, of Grundy Center, passed away on Tuesday, May 19th at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center, after her brave and valiant fight with brain cancer. Visitation and Celebration of Life services for Megan will be held on Saturday, May 23rd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Orchard Hill Church-Grundy Campus, 1800 G Avenue, Grundy Center, Iowa. A private service will be held following the visitation at the church, and a private burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery (we will livestream the service at 4:30 and that can be accessed on our Facebook page). We ask those in attendance, to practice social distancing. Memorials may be directed to the family and a Megan Hook memorial fund will be set up soon at GNB Bank. She is survived by her loving husband Brent, of Grundy Center; children: Aiden, Addison, Alexander and Aysen Hook, of Grundy Center; parents David & Stacey Lyman, of Grundy Center; mother and father-in-law Bryon & Lori Hook, of Grundy Center; siblings: Nathan (Anastasia) Lyman, of Des Moines and Dylan (Sam Meyers) Lyman, of Grundy Center; brothers-in-law Brady & Madi Hook and their 2 boys, of Grundy Center and Trevor (Ashlen Damm) Hook, of Fayette, IA; maternal grandmother Sandra Simmer, of Des Moines and paternal great grandmother Margaret Lyman, of Gifford; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
