Marcus Dale Wanatee, 48
Marcus Dale Wanatee, 48, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at his home due to natural causes on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement. A Private Traditional Wake was held Thursday evening at the Myron Wanatee Jr. residence on the Settlement.
Survivors include his children: Eden Wanatee, Araya Wanatee (Cody), Mira Wanatee (Antonio), Zekaria Wanatee and Raiden Wanatee; two grandchildren; mother of his children, Jennie Seaboy-Wanatee; brother, Myron Wanatee Jr. (Joy); sisters, Mylene Wanatee, Lowella Balderas (Rupa) and Melinda Wanatee-Diego (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
