Melanie Marie Stewart, 55
Melanie Marie Stewart, 55, of Des Moines, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 surrounded by her loving mom and sister. She was under the care of UnityPoint Hospice after a brave battle with cancer.
Funeral services for Melanie will take place on Monday, January 11 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Kosbau officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior beginning at 1:00 P.M. and cremation rites will take place following the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
