Memorials in Suzette’s name may be directed to the Ames Public Library, Israel Family Hospice House or the Oncology dept. at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Suzette Lake Sellman was born December 19, 1953 to parents Kenneth and Ruth (Wilson) Sellman In Des Moines, Iowa. She was one of three children. She attended school in Belle Plaine and graduated in the Class of 1972.

On July 11, 1979, she was united in marriage to her husband Milton Anderson. Together they raised their children Clint and Chantel. She was a hard worker and worked as a business analyst for the USDA laboratories in Ames until her retirement. After retirement she was always helpful volunteering at the Ames Public Library.

In her free time, she loved reading a good book, working through various crossword puzzles, studying her families genealogy; cheering on her children and grandchildren through their various sporting activities and watching Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball.

Left to remember and cherish her memory are her children, Clint Mattingly and Chantel Weeden; her grandchildren, Storm Wiseman and Tyne Weeden; her twin brother, John (Diana) Sellman and her sister Janice Sankot.

She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Anderson and her parents, Kenneth and Ruth Sellman.
