Per the wishes of Steve and his family, cremation rites have been accorded. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on Saturday, October 23 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. His final resting place will be the Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or directed to the City of Union Parks and Recreation department. Left to cherish his memory are his two children: Andrea (Justin) Thibodeau of Monroe Center, Illinois and Todd (Sara) Reece of State Center; five grandchildren; mother of his children, Mary Ann Reece; his siblings: Kent (Tracy) Reinert and Kurt (Connie) Reinert; brother-in-law, Larry Lubbert; sister-in-law, Carlene Reece and many other family and friends.
