George was born in December of 1946 in Marshalltown, Iowa. Moving with his parents to Waukegan, Illinois, he attended local schools and graduated in 1965 from Waukegan Township High School. He attended Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, before beginning his career in purchasing management with various companies.

George leaves his special friend, Patty Idstrom Hacker, his sister, Suzanne (Ralph) Ratliff, nephew David (Jennifer) Ratliff, adopted son, Joseph (Sarah) Stone and their children Dalton, Ezra and Sophie and cousin Steve (Tina) Stone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Kathleen Stone and his cousin Dan Stone.

In accordance with George’s wishes, there will be no services.
