• Juan Martin Garcia Alcaraz made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge, a driving under suspension charge and a failure to use interlock device charge. Taylor Reichardt was appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on May 17.

• Brennan Cole Johnson made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a pre-trial conference charge. The pre-trial conference is rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. on May 6 with the jury trial at 9 a.m. on May 19. Bond is set at $5,000 cash.

Johnson was also seen on new charges of eluding, driving under suspension, no insurance, operating without registration, reckless driving, possession of marijuana-second offense, failure to obey a steady red light and stop sign violation. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on May 6. Bond is set at $25,000 cash.

• Zachary Allen Eggers made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. Eggers is being held without bond.

• Ricardo Velez Jr. made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 1. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.

• Marsiano Jose Galvez made an initial appearance on a harassment-first degree charge, a driving while barred charge and a reckless use of a firearm charge. Taylor Reichardt is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on May 17.

• Noah De Jesus Fonseca made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge. Fonseca pleaded guilty to both charges. On the driving under suspension charge the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $140 with a $21 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $216.

• Blaine Douglas Hall made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Mark Olberding filed an appearance for Hall. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 25 in Magistrate Court.

• Michael Curtis Branch made an initial appearance on a malicious prosecution charge, a no seatbelt charge, a providing a false identification information charge and a driving under suspension charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on May 17. Branch is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement.
