She is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Lillian Curphy.

She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Donahue, of Marshalltown, Iowa. Three children: Tara (Mike) Evans, of Sierra Vista, AZ, Kimberly Henderson, of Weatherford, TX, and Beverly Roof, of Wynona, OK. 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She lived in Denver, Colorado, much of her life and moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona, in September of 1999. An avid nature enthusiast with a draw to the Wild West and John Wayne, Betty enjoyed sketching, writing short stories and poetry, as well as playing several different types of card games.

Betty passed away September 26th at Haven of Sierra Vista with Tara at her side.
