Eva “June” Haack, 103, of Gladbrook, IA, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. Visitation will take place 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at Peace United Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Crystal Cemetery. Eva “June” was born June 4, 1919, to Herman and Edith Slate in Stark, IA. A longtime resident of Gladbrook, June and her husband, Clarence, raised one daughter, Linda. June babysat for many Gladbrook families. She had a love for cats, birds, kids, gardening and being with her neighbors.
June will be missed by her daughter, Linda.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, one sister, Charlene, and two brothers, Mearl and Glen.
