Jose Carmen Villagomez Torrez, 72, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the morning of May 25, 2023, at UnityPoint Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Jose is survived by, his children: Veronica Villagomez and her family, Emma Villagomez and her family, Eva Garcia and her family, Joaquin (Jasmeine) Villagomez, Erica Villagomez, Maria (Benjamin) Morales Villagomez, Efrain (Brelyn) Villagomez and Aneida Villagomez; his 17 grandchildren and another baby boy on the way; many great grandchildren; his siblings: Manuel, Jose, Yolanda, Martin, Jesus, Fulgencio, Benjamin and Santiago; alongside other nieces and nephews.
