Clara Taft was born on August 10, 1937, in Des Moines. She was the daughter of Charles Edward Taft Sr. and Clara Ester (Bohall) Taft. On November 5, 1953, Clara was united in marriage to Lyle Robinson. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo, puzzles and playing solitaire on her tablet. She also enjoyed watching classic television shows and loved to spend time with her family.

Clara is survived by her children: JoAnn (Roger) Bunting, Joesph (Debbie) Robinson, Randy Robinson and Roy (Marla) Robinson. Grandchildren: Dennis (Helen) Buchanan Jr., Tabitha (Ron) Roop, Cris (Darrell) Shepard, Brandylace (Phillip) Salyers, Shannon Rosenkrans, Virginia (Dale) Miller, Angie Robinson, Todd Robinson and Christopher (Lilly) Robinson. Great grandchildren: Chad McDonald, Coty Horrell, Nicklos Shepard, Sapphire (James) Barns, Nakota Roop, Hunter Werling, Chanller Roop and Jaycie Coffey. She is also survived by her great-great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Morgan, Hunter, Sammy, Nicklos Jr., Jocelyn, Darrell, Scarlette, Dean, Asher, Paisley, Benjamin, Violet, Xaiden, Willow and Kimberly along with siblings: Charles (Ila) Taft and Rita Vajgert.

Clara will be rejoined in death by her husband, Lyle; children: Virginia Robinson, Richard Lee Robinson and Annette Evon Curly; parents: Clara and Charles; siblings: Orville, Viola, Donna, Marion, Wanda, Lula, Jim and Billy.
