Delilah Elaine Mauskemo, 37, of Tama, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at UnityPoint-Marshalltown. A Traditional Wake was held Monday evening, July 31, 2023, at the Glenn Roberts Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the McIntosh Cemetery on the Settlement.
Survivors include her daughters: Sarayna Mauskemo, Jazlynn Marva Papakee and Avianna Demeris Papakee; brother, Derrick Mauskemo; sister, Alexah Marva Mauskemo; grandmother, Elizabeth Roberts; her companion and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Tama.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
