June was born on August 19, 1935, to Dwayne and Nellie (Squire) Shaver in rural Milan, Missouri. She moved to Iowa as a young child and she ended up staying the rest of her life.

June married her high school sweetheart, John Bradley. They celebrated 68 years of married life. Like most farm wives, June divided her time between helping out with the farm and raising her family. She enjoyed her time as a 4-H leader, working with the Iowa Pork Producers and volunteering.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joyce Jessen. She is survived by her husband, John Bradley; her children, Mark (Darlene) Bradley, Cathy (Ed) Symonds and Deb Score; her 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her siblings, Don (Marlene) Shaver and Janet (Woody) Grabenbauer.

Services for June will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Union, Iowa, beginning at 11:00 A.M. A visitation for family and friends will be held one-hour prior to services. Memorials in June’s name may be directed to the Calvary Baptist Church or the University of Iowa Center for Advancement.
