As per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation with the family receiving friends will be from 5:00 P.M – 6:00 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 9th, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Kendall is survived by her children — Emily Brown, of Albuquerque (New Mexico), Evan McFarland, of Grinnell, Paige McFarland, of Laurens, Kaleena Derby, of Des Moines, and Seth Derby, of Ames, — and by her grandchildren.
