Shawn Youngbear
Shawn David Youngbear, 48, of Cedar Rapids, passed away, Sunday, December 3, 2023, at his home. A Traditional Wake was held Tuesday evening, December 5, 2023 at the Bear Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Meskwaki Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Keri Youngbear; sons: Abel, Micah, Miko and Mark Youngbear; daughters: Shea, Summer, Rosie and Mina Youngbear; four granddaughters; three grandsons; sisters, Lisa Gladwin and Penny Jo Youngbear; and brothers, Bumper and Jason Gladwin and his mother, Karen.
