Amado Soto Diaz, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Amado is survived by his children: Jesenia (Eric) Mendoza, of Marshalltown, Joel (Belen) Soto, of Marshalltown, Rosa Soto, of Mexico, and Fabiola Soto, of Mexico. He is also survived by eight grandsons, two granddaughters, ten great grandchildren and his brother: Miguel (Lupita Cital) Soto Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews.
