Mike is survived by his wife Ginnie; daughters: Julie and twins, Diane and Debbie. Also surviving are two brothers, Ward (Corky) Brimmer, of Georgia, and Toby Brimmer, of Marshalltown.

Cremation rites will be honored with military services at a later date.
