Cremation rights were accorded with Celebrate Life of Iowa.

Gary was born May 30th, 1941 to Dyrl and Lucille(Olson)McCord in Defiance, Iowa and graduated Harlan High School in 1959.

Gary worked at Lennox for 17yrs and in food sales for 26yrs.

On July 18, 1998 he would be united in marriage to Pamela Benson and get to celebrate 25yrs together before his passing.

He is survived by wife Pam, sister Judy Paulsen, son Garrison(Michelle)McCord. Two stepdaughters Erin(Miguel)Tellez and Stephanie Quigley. Granddaughter Hayley(Scott Bergeson)McCord, grandson Brandon McCord and great-grandson Kobryn McCord, many nephews and nieces and life long friend of 77yrs Dave Hemminger.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Dyrl, his mother Lucille and infant brother Billie Lee.
