Services honoring his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, at the Union Community Church in Union with Pastor John Richter officiating. Private family interment will be in the Union Cemetery at a later date. Full military honors will be presented by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard of the surrounding area. Visitation will be one-hour prior beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown is caring for George and his family. Ph. 641-844-1234.

Left to cherish his memory are Dorothy, his loving wife of 76 years; his children, Peg Fulton, of Marshalltown, and Pat (Scott) Spicer, of Marshalltown, and numerous other relatives.
