Sammie Charles O'Lear, 71, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Friday, February 23, 2024, at his residence. Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services will be held. Sammie was born August 16, 1952 to Robert and Gloria (Sornsen) O’Lear in Marshalltown. He graduated from Marshalltown High School. In his early years, Sammie was employed with Cessford Construction. He enjoyed watching racing while drinking a cold beer.
Sammie is survived by a son, Mike (Shelly) O'Lear of Marshalltown, IA.
