Steven Davenport
Steven Vernon Davenport “Wa ka ki de ga”, 71, of Waterloo, passed away, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at NorthCrest Specialty Care in Waterloo. A Traditional Wake was held Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement. A Traditional Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Garden of Memories in Waterloo.
Survivors include his sister, Maxine Davenport, of Cedar Falls; brother, David Davenport, of Tama; son, Apollo Davenport, of Tama; three nieces, all of Tama; a nephew, of Tucson, AZ; two aunts, both of Tama, and and an aunt, of Sandy, UT and a large extended family.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
