Richard “Butch” Rutledge
Richard “Butch” Rutledge, 80, of Tama, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his home under the care of his family and UnityPoint Hospice. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael McAndrew as celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Betty, of Tama; three daughters, Paula (Roger) Eberhart, of Montour, Pam (Steve) Fowler, of Tama, and Penny (Robert) Tyynismaa, of Marshalltown; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Bev (Harold) Rehberg, of Keystone, and Virginia “Susie” Rutledge, of Tama; niece and nephew.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
