Hattie Francine Whitebreast, 65, of Tama, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. A Traditional Wake was held Monday Evening, May 20, 2024, at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services was held Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.
Survivors include son, Damon Ramsey Whitebreast, of Montour; brothers: Charlie (Kathy) Shuckahosee, of Toledo, Raymond (Daria) Slick, of Tama, and Bradley Shuckahosee, of Tama; sisters: Mary Shuckahosee, of Tama, Margaret “Annie” Shuckahosee, of Tama, and DeLarcy (Uriah) Wanatee, of Tama; adopted mom, Jessica (Jarvis) Bear, of Tama; and sister, Iris Roberts, of Tama; nieces and nephews.
