Lorene Meek
Lorene Meek, 104, of Tama, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, Birkwood Village of Tama under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Haven Cemetery, rural Tama. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sons, Roger (Jeanette) Meek, of Beloit, Kansas and Duane (Karen) Meek, of Conroy, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Sandy Meek; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Strennan and Louise Danner; sister-in-law, Marilyn Rodgers and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund will be established.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
