Marian Davenport
Marian June Davenport, “Bye-Ta-Na-Kwi-a”, 81, of Montour, passed away, Monday, May 13, 2024, at her home. A Traditional Wake was held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement. A Traditional Graveside Service was held Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at McIntosh Cemetery.
Survivors include her adopted mother, Alma Ward; adopted son, Virgil Lasley; four grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Roberts and Carolyn “Sunni” Joy; brother, Frank Wanatee Jr.; adopted brothers, Aaron Walker, Mike Keahna and Glenn Roberts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
