Wayne was born July 8, 1942, the son of Darrel and Verna (Small) Schiebel. He was raised on a farm in rural Liscomb. Wayne graduated from Beaman/Conrad/Liscomb High School in 1960. On January 26, 1962, he married Judy Beeghly. They celebrated 62 years of marriage this year.

Wayne was a farmer and enjoyed helping farm into his 80th year. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Wayne really enjoyed fishing at Iowana Beach in Minnesota each year. His hobbies included golfing and car shows where he never met a stranger. He also worked a few years at Fisher Controls and Lennox. He was a member of Grace Church in Marshalltown, IA.

He is survived by his wife Judy Schiebel, three sons, Todd (Kristi) Schiebel of Conrad, Trent Schiebel of Glenwood, Trevor (Christina) Schiebel of Liscomb, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Devin (Michelle) Schiebel along with their kids Harrison, Ian, Reagan, Kerrigan, & Morgan of Liscomb; Christian Schiebel of Cherokee; Natasha (Justus) Bjelland of Marshalltown; Tucker (fiancé Kayla Vinson) of Marshalltown; Rachel & Clara Schiebel of Liscomb; Victoria and Willis Schiebel of Conrad, IA. Wayne is also survived by three younger siblings: LaDonna Sharp of Conrad, Steve Schiebel of Liscomb, and Deanna (Tom) Jordan of Ames and sister-in-law Patricia Schiebel of Conrad.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, son Bryan, brother-in-law Dean Sharp and brother Alan Schiebel.
