Clyde Papakee Jr.
Clyde Papakee Jr., 66, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Premier Estates of Toledo. A Traditional Wake was held Wednesday Evening, June 12, 2024, at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Traditional Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at McIntosh Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama.
Survivors include brothers, Brian (Autumn) Papakee, and Lamont Papakee, both of Tama; four sisters: Clydene (Adolph) Bear, Alicia (Odie Oldbear) Papakee, Kelly Johnson and Karena Johnson (Demetrious Wanatee), all of Tama; his close friend, from Iowa City; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo is assisting the family with the arrangements.
