Illeana was the daughter of Byrl and Thelma (Hardin) Smith. She attended high school in Marshalltown and was married to Omar Manship. Illeana worked at Bell Telephone, Kiowa, Iowa Veterans Home in corrections as a Pentecostal minister.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jane (Larry) Zednichek, Buck (Kathy) Manship, Judy (J.R.) Spaulding, Richard Manship, Mary Sanderson and Everett (Becky) Manship; 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings: Leroy Smith and Nettie Dibbens.
Illeana is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Curt, Lowell and Donald Smith, daughter-in-law Corrine Manship, brother-in-law John Dibbens, and sister-in-law Carol Smith.
