A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at 10:30 A.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, June 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Sandy will be laid to rest at Center School Cemetery in Marshalltown. She is survived by her husband, Larry Joe Messer; her children: Lori (Leslie) Delaney-Zellner, Amy (Mark) Delaney-Smothers, Angie Doiron and Clair (Gabby) Messer; her 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her siblings: Connie Adair, Claudia (Tim) Powers, Judy (Bill “Billy Boy”) Roads and Steve (Elaine) Roy; brother-in-law, Lloyd Yocum and many nieces and nephews.
