Shirley “Space Shot Shirley” Beeghly, age 84, of Linn Valley, Kansas, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away in the presence of her family on Friday afternoon, May 31st, at the Unitypoint Health Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Shirley would be so proud that her great niece, Rachel Rigdon, currently chaplain at Cooks Children’s Hospital in Houston, will officiate her service. She will be laid to rest in the Liscomb Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Monday at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home.
