Douglas “Hank” Hanken, 70, of Marshalltown, IA, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was surrounded by the love of his family as he drew his final breath. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Grimes Farm Nature Center in Marshalltown. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to gather in the amphitheater area. As we celebrate a life cut too short, friends and family will be invited to share a story or a few words to honor his memory.
