He is survived by his son Evan Keith Gowdy, of Colorado, his stepchildren; Jeff Owens, Alex Wolgamott and Will Wolgamott, and his siblings; Mike (Jeanne), of Marshalltown, Phil (Jane), of Ankeny, and Kent Gowdy, of Red Oak.
